Caladenia – 3 BR Retreat
Caladenia is a three bedroom spacious home for a family with 2 or more siblings or a small travelling group where up to 6 people can be accommodated.
This retreat sits high above the dunes with a cantilevered floor pointing due west that makes you feel you are standing on the bow of a ship. The fully glazed windows in the kitchen/living area together with picture frame windows in all the bedrooms open the spectacular views to our guests of the great Southern Ocean.
The rolling waves crashing on the rocks directly in frontof the retreats create a theatre that only nature can produce and our guests have front row unimpeded attention to the spectacle.
The kitchen living area, similar to all the other retreats at Ettrick Rocks, has a large comfortable chaise lounge to relax and luxuriate in. Each living area offers gas-log fire for those cold wintry nights when all you just want to do is snuggle up and relax. A reverse air-conditioning unit will keep you cool and feeling comfortable no matter the weather outside.
All of the Ettrick Rocks retreats have original artwork displayed to promote and celebrate the works of local artists. The paintings can be purchased and carefully packed depending on their size to either leave with you or sent to your preferred address no matter where you are located around the world.
Guests arriving to Ettrick Rocks are greeted by one of our friendly staff who will acquaint our guests on the use of appliances, electrical devices, entertainment systems and safety equipment for their use and enjoyment. The most interesting features of the location are pointed out as well as assist with questions to help better discover King Island.
An appetising platter of King Island cheeses or an equivalent platter to suit dietary requirements is presented to all guests on arrival to sit and relax whilst marvelling at the amazing views directly in front of their property.
